To kick of my blog ima let u in on what i think about some movies from way back in the day, that i thought were totally over rated!!! Feel free to disagree and lemme know exactly wat u think.........
Ok so heres a top ten list of the most over rated movies that I have ever seen…..at
Number 10 – TRAINING DAY…..big deal, so denzel Washington went totally out of character here and played a bad guy for once…….did he really deserve that oscar, and I bet u didn’t know this, but training day was actually a remake and the original was heaps better
Number 9 – RESERVOIR DOGS………..dnt get me wrong this wasn’t a bad movie, it was just over rated, it was a pulp fiction wana be and well over rated
Number 8 – STAR TREK 4 – THE VOYAGE HOME…………………now if uv seen this movie, ul know wat I mean, the whole plot of the movie was that, the aliens cud only communicate with whales, and the fate of the universe was in their hands…..wait do u say hands………….anyway
Number 7 – THE OTHERS………now this movie was way toooooo long, and slow and took forever for something to happen. It was a smart movie tho, not as brilliant as heaps of people made it out to be, but smart none the less.
Number 6 – SCARFACE………….now I know a lot of u are disagreeing with me now, but Al Pacino is the most over rated actor in Hollywood, and all I got out of that movie was 7 new ways to use the F bomb…….this movie myt be legendary, but if it was to be released agen today, I dnt think itl be as good
Number 5 – SHAKESPERE IN LOVE……..cmon man, it was bad enuf they made us learn it in hi skul then they make a movie out of it…….now the reason I say this movie was highly over rated was becoz it kikd the butt of SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, AND AMERICAN HISTORY X at the awards for that year……..
Number 4 – CHICAGO……….this was released in 2002 and was a very low time for movies………..and this musical, about adultery and murder was living proof…..keep in mind as well, at the awards shows it beat of LOTR, GANGS OF NEWYORK AND THE PIANIST………….how the hell did that happen
Number 3 – TITANIC………..the most clichéd love story ever……..and cmon man, it wasn’t that good…….it was a long boring soap opera, very bad acting and it was a tragic love story between two people from very different back grounds
Number 2 – CLERKS…………….this movie was the one that shot jay and silent bob to stardom, but come on man, the movie funny sometimes and after a while of listening to someone cuss all the time to various different people. It just sorta gets a bit dull, and it didn’t deserve all the attention it did get
And the Number 1 most over rated movie of all time has to be, without a doubt………….APOCALYPSE NOW………….it was full of bad acting, it was a sad boring film that was overly dramatic without any actual drama……..
